Sealum Industries is a well-established family-owned business in operation since 1977 and located in Delta, BC (Annacis Business Park). We design and manufacture hydraulic cylinders as well as a vast array of related components in our 30,000 square foot production facility. All available positions are permanent full-time positions, Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and are available immediately. MACHINIST - MANUAL LATHE OPERATOR
We are currently looking for a manual lathe operator. This is NOT a temporary position as we are looking for a long-term employee to join our team.
Qualifications:
- Minimum two years as a manual lathe operator
- Must be able to use all measuring devices associated with standard machining practices
- Must be able to read manufacturing drawings
MACHINIST - CNC LATHE OPERATOR
We are currently looking for a CNC machinist to setup and run our turning centers. This is NOT a temporary position as we are looking for a long-term employee to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Set-up job specific tooling on CNC lathes
- Set-up jobs according to program and drawings
- Ensure jobs are running efficiently to reduce cycle times
- Ensure all parts produced are within specifications as per drawings
Qualifications:
- Must be able to use all measuring devices associated with standard machining practices
- Experienced with machining steel, stainless steel and aluminum components
- No programing experience is required as programs will be provided prior to setup
